Booking Process

How does the booking process work?
It's simple! Start by scheduling a free consultation call. During our call, I'll learn about your travel dreams, budget, and preferences. Then I'll research and present you with customized options. Once you choose your perfect trip, I handle all the booking details. You'll receive a complete itinerary and I'll be available throughout your entire journey.
How far in advance should I book my trip?
I recommend booking 6-12 months in advance for the best selection and pricing, especially for popular destinations, cruises, and holiday travel. However, I can also help with last-minute trips! Disney and cruise vacations especially benefit from early booking to secure dining reservations and excursions.
Do you only book trips for groups, or can you help individuals too?
I help everyone! Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple planning a honeymoon, a family with kids, or a large group reunion, I'm happy to plan your perfect trip. Every vacation gets the same level of personalized attention and care.

Pricing & Payment

Do you charge a fee for your services?
In most cases, my services come at no additional cost to you. I earn commissions from travel suppliers like cruise lines, resorts, and tour operators. This means you get expert planning and personalized service without paying more than you would booking on your own. For certain custom or complex itineraries, a planning fee may apply, which I'll always discuss upfront.
Can you work within my budget?
Absolutely! I work with a wide range of budgets. During our initial consultation, I'll ask about your budget so I can tailor recommendations accordingly. I have access to special promotions, group rates, and exclusive deals that can help stretch your travel dollars further. There's a wonderful vacation option for every budget.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment methods vary depending on the travel supplier. Most accept major credit cards, and some offer payment plans that allow you to pay over time. I'll walk you through all available payment options during the booking process so you can choose what works best for you.

What's Included

What exactly does "all-inclusive" mean?
All-inclusive resorts typically include your accommodations, all meals and snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, many activities and entertainment, and sometimes even airport transfers. The exact inclusions vary by resort, and I'll provide a detailed breakdown so you know exactly what's covered. Some resorts also offer upgraded "luxury all-inclusive" packages with premium dining and spa credits.
Do you help with flights, or just the destination?
I can help with everything! That includes flights, accommodations, transfers, excursions, dining reservations, travel insurance, and any other details your trip needs. I aim to be your one-stop shop for travel planning so you don't have to juggle multiple bookings and websites.
What cruise lines do you work with?
I specialize in Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Princess, and Norwegian cruise lines, but I can book with many others as well. Each cruise line has its own personality and strengths, and I'll help you find the one that best matches your travel style, whether you want adventure, relaxation, family fun, or premium luxury.

Cancellation & Insurance

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary by travel supplier (cruise line, resort, airline, etc.). I'll clearly explain all cancellation terms and deadlines before you book so there are no surprises. Many bookings offer free cancellation within a certain window, and I always recommend travel insurance for added protection.
Do I need travel insurance?
I strongly recommend travel insurance for every trip. It protects your investment against unforeseen circumstances like illness, weather events, airline cancellations, and more. I can help you find the right coverage for your trip at competitive rates. It's a small cost that provides enormous peace of mind.
What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?
That's one of the biggest advantages of working with a travel agent! If something goes wrong during your trip, whether it's a flight delay, a hotel issue, or any other problem, you have an advocate working on your behalf. I can contact suppliers directly, rebook flights, and resolve issues so you can get back to enjoying your vacation.

General Questions

Do I need a passport for a Caribbean cruise?
For closed-loop cruises (departing and returning to the same U.S. port), U.S. citizens can use a birth certificate and government-issued photo ID. However, I always recommend having a valid passport for international travel. A passport is required for fly-and-cruise itineraries and provides added flexibility. I'll advise you on the specific requirements for your trip.
When is the best time to visit the Caribbean?
The Caribbean is wonderful year-round! Peak season runs from December through April with the best weather and highest prices. The shoulder season (May-June and November) offers great weather with lower prices. Summer months are the most affordable, though it is hurricane season (June-November). I'll help you find the best time based on your preferences and budget.
What age is best for kids to go to Disney?
Disney is magical at any age! Children under 3 get in free, making it a great time to introduce them. Ages 4-8 are often considered the "sweet spot" when kids are old enough to enjoy rides and meet characters but still fully immersed in the magic. Older kids and teens love the thrill rides and Star Wars experiences. I'll help you plan age-appropriate activities for your family.
